Frequently asked questions
What happens when my trial ends?
Your account, conversations, and the chat widget keep working — your visitors never lose the ability to reach you. Session replay is paused until you upgrade, and resumes as soon as you do.
What counts as a seat?
A seat is one agent login on your account. You choose the number of seats at checkout and can change it any time from the billing portal.
How do payments work?
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Invoices and payment methods are managed in the Stripe billing portal.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your data stays available to export.
Do you sample sessions?
No. Every session is recorded on every plan, including the trial. The only limit is a per-visitor rate cap that protects the pipeline from abuse — it is not a metering or pricing mechanism, and normal browsing never hits it.
Where is my data stored?
On EU infrastructure (Hetzner). Recordings keep a rolling 90-day window on every plan, visitor inputs are masked by default, and individual sessions can be erased on request — see our Privacy Policy.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet — monthly only for now. If annual billing matters to your team, email support@yakware.com.
